How we price the work.
We do not publish a project price, because a project price quoted before the problem
is understood is a guess dressed up as a number. We publish the shape of the engagement and the rate
behind it, and we put a real number in front of you at the end of discovery.
Four engagement shapes
Readiness assessment
Short and fixed-fee, agreed before it starts. You receive a written AI assessment and a
sequenced plan. For a build, you also get a specification, a price, and an explicit list of what is
out of scope. If you take that document to another firm, that is a legitimate outcome.
Advisory retainer
A monthly allowance of hours at the published rate, for ongoing AI strategy, vendor
evaluation and review. Month to month, cancellable with notice.
Build
Agentic workflows, AI-native CRMs, custom tools and integrations. Fixed-fee, quoted from
the assessment or discovery document. Weekly working demos. A change to the scope is a written
change to the price, never a surprise on the invoice.
Care plan
A monthly retainer after delivery: updates, monitoring of agent behaviour and model cost, a
named contact, and a fixed allowance of change hours. Month to month, cancellable with notice.
The rate behind the quotes
Our professional services rate is $150 per hour. Fixed fees are built from it,
and any work outside an agreed scope is billed at it. Travel, third-party licences, cloud and
AI model usage costs are passed through at cost with receipts.
Invoices are net 30 unless a signed order says otherwise. Work begins after a signed statement
of work.
When this is a bad fit
- You need someone to start building on Monday without a written scope.
- Nobody on your side can make a decision about the process being automated.
- The budget is smaller than the cost of the problem you are describing. We will say so.
- You need AI agents explained from first principles before deciding whether you want them.
We work with teams that already know what agentic systems are and want them done properly.
- You want a guarantee of a financial result. Advice is our professional opinion; the business
decisions, and their outcomes, stay yours.
Prices and terms on this page are an offer to discuss, not a binding quotation.
A binding scope and price appear only in a signed statement of work.
